From the recording Saint Joan of Arc Tribute

Saint Joan of Arc Tribute * Music by Fran Schultz * Mine is but a little musical tribute to such a great, courageous and inspiring woman. I hope it serves to shine light on her and inspires you to dig deeper into her mystery, explore the depths of faith she so valiantly and courageously lived in her short life of 19 years. Since hearing the story of St. Joan of Arc when I was a child prior to receiving Confirmation I have been fascinated & inspired by her. Her Feast Day is May 30.  Born in 1412 and Executed on May 30, 1431 AD. Joan of Arc was nicknamed "The Maid of Orléans.” Graphic Music Promo for Saint Joan of Arc Tribute by Fran Schultz.  Upper right: Battle Banner Flag of Joan of Arc, historical account supported by other paintings, as used by Joan of Arc in 1429 AD  * Upper left: Joan of Arc – John Everett Millais (ca.1888 AD) Private Collection * Lower painting: ‘The Life of Joan of Arc’ Triptych, Stilke Hermann Anton (1843 AD), Hermitage State Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia *  Quote by Joan of Arc herself:  “Every man gives his life for what he believes. Every woman gives her life for what she believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing, and so they give their lives to little or nothing. One life is all we have, and we live it as we believe in living it – and then it’s gone. But to surrender who you are and to live without belief is more terrible than dying – even more terrible than dying young.” Notes/for further reading:   http://www.knightstemplarorder.org/templar-joan-of-arc  and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_of_Arc
