Allhallowtide, Hallowtide, Allsaintstide, or the Hallowmas season is the triduum encompassing the Western Christian observances of All Hallows' Eve (Hallowe'en), All Saints Day (All Hallows') and All Souls' Day which last from October 31 to November 2 annually. In the music promo above I've chosen an 1888 oil painting by Jakub Schikaneder (1855-1924). This oil painting shows an elderly woman after placing a wreath upon the tombstone of her loved one.
